Development of the Concept of Sustainable Agro-Tourism Destinations—Exploring the Motivations of Serbian Gastro-Tourists

One of the key elements for development an agro-tourism destination can be specific gastronomy. In this context, research and understanding motivation tourists who visit those destinations influence concept their sustainability, which was goal research. The conducted during 2022 on a total sample 607 respondents stayed in Republic Serbia. paper presents motivational factors that potentially frequency gastronomic to try local specialties food destinations. results indicate cultural experience dimension, excitement interpersonal, relation sensory appeal dimension show significant visitation by tourists, while health concern factor does not statistical significance. undoubtedly certain socio-demographic characteristics gastro-tourists have impact destination, direction more educated as well women positive attitudes towards destination.
